Overview of Services

The Queen Anne Helpline provides basic supportive services plus several special assistance programs. Your eligibility for program services depends on your area of residence as defined by zip codes 98109 or 98119. You are required to validate your address.

Services offered to residents living within 98109 and 98119 zip codes include:

  1. Eviction prevention and rental payment assistance;
  2. Help with payments for utility and medical bills;
  3. Food vouchers;
  4. Tutoring for students attending Queen Anne area schools K-8;
  5. Opening Doors of Opportunity, The adult continuing education assistance program is offered on a case-by-case basis only.

Basic assistance offered to all Seattle residents includes access to:

  1. The Queen Anne Helpline's free CLOTHING BANK.
  2. Emergency food bags and FOOD PANTRY of non-perishable food items.
  3. Personal care products (shampoo, soap, toothpaste, etc), kitchen items such as dishes, pots and pans, and household products such as laundry supplies, as well as baby diapers and adult disposable undergarments;
  4. Free Books- fiction, non-fiction, paperbacks and hardbacks;
  5. Interagency referrals, telephone, pamphlets, and brochures to wrap-around support service agencies.
