Our Mission
Queen Anne Helpline prevents homelessness and bolsters access to the foundational resources we all need to thrive.
History
Queen Anne Helpline was formed in 1982 when a local grocery store owner noticed customers having more difficulty accessing healthy food, and faith-based leaders also noticed congregants facing more economic barriers. Those concerned neighbors came together to take collective action in response to this new reality. Queen Anne Helpline was founded with the belief that building a strong community requires that we all have the tools we need to reach our full potential. By providing healthy meals, dignified clothing, eviction prevention, and other supportive services, we fortify our collective well being in the Queen Anne, Magnolia, Interbay, and South Lake Union neighborhoods of Seattle.
