Front desk volunteers come for a 3-hour shift, usually for the same time each week. Their job is to help our neighbors access the services that we offer! They answer phones, welcome clients inside, explain what is available, and help them find the clothes and other resources they need. Front desk volunteers also use our computer systems to schedule appointments, keep track of clients, and more. Must be 18+, comfortable with computers, friendly, welcoming, and organized! Most of these shifts are currently filled, but feel free to apply and we'll reach out if we have an opening!

Sorting room volunteers come for a 3-hour shift, usually for the same time each week. These volunteers are crucial to helping keep our Resource Center stocked and organized! They sort through donated items, put tags on clothes, assemble bags of groceries, and stock everything onto our shelves so that our neighbors can shop for what they need. Must be 18+. Most of these shifts are currently filled, but feel free to apply and we'll reach out if we have an opening!

Resource Support Volunteers do all of their volunteering on their own time, so it's a great option for kids/teens or those who aren't available during our regular hours! These volunteers help us do the important work of ensuring that we have enough resources to share with our neighbors in need. You'll receive an email at the beginning of each month with an up-to-date list of what we're most in need of at our Resource Center (usually food, hygiene, or clothing) and spend whatever time you'd like helping us to gather those resources! You can do that by hosting a supply drive, asking your friends and neighbors to pitch in ("Bring some cans to our next dinner party!"), pick up some extra things on your next Costco run, or anything else that works for you. This role is flexible and can be whatever you want it to be!

Anyone can host a drive anytime, and we're always here to help! Involve your school, church, workplace, book club, or any other community that you're a part of. You can choose to collect food, hygiene products, clothing, linens, or anything else we accept. We have a large collection bin and can give you any fliers, posters, or other materials you need.
