Every week, on Monday and Thursday, we open our doors to the community and help ensure that everyone who needs access to the fundamental resources we all need to thrive can get food, clothing, hygiene items, and have a place to sit and be for a moment.

Core to our work is being supported by our neighbors; the majority of our donations come from the South Lake Union, Queen Anne and Magnolia neighborhoods. This is why we talk about what we do as "neighbors helping neighbors."

We try to share the stories we collect with you, along with news and urgent needs through our social media feeds and email newsletters. However, sometimes there are longer stories, or topics that don't fit neatly into a quick email or Instagram post, so we're making this new blog space to cover some of those gaps.

From time to time we'll post longer articles here and make sure to link them in our email newsletter. If you aren't signed up for our newsletter, you do that on the bottom of any page on our website.
